Imogen Poots

Imogen Poots Gay ( born June 3, 1989 in London) is a British actress and model. They gained great fame mainly by the role of Tammy in 28 Weeks Later.

Life and career

Imogen Poots was born as the daughter of Fiona and Trevor Poots, a film producer. She has an older brother named Alex and attended Latymer Upper School, a drama school in London. Poots is a member of the Youngblood Theatre Company, and is also available as a model for Select Model Management.

Her first film appearance was Poots as the young Valerie Page in V for Vendetta (2006). Previously, she was seen in an episode of the British television series Casualty. She received her biggest success in 2007 by the role of Tammy in the end-time horror-thriller 28 Weeks Later. In the same year she also appeared in Matt Days Short Film Wish with. In 2008 she had a role in the film Miss Austen Regrets BBC. In Solitary Man (2009) she starred opposite Michael Douglas, in Cracks (2009 ) on the side of Eva Green. In 2010 she played - besides Michael Fassbender - in Neil Marshall's Centurion film history the role of the Celtic witch Arianne.
