Implenia

Implenia AG, headquartered in Dietlikon in Canton Zurich is the largest construction and construction services in Switzerland. It was created in early 2006 from the merger of the Basel Batigroup Holding AG with the Geneva Zschokke Holding SA.

History

Implenia arose from a series of mergers of regional construction companies. In mid-1997 the Preiswerk Holding AG, the Swiss road construction and civil engineering company AG merged ( Stuag ) / Stuag Holding AG and lard AG Construction / lard Holding AG Batigroup holding company headquartered in Basel.
