Royal Imtech N.V. is an international group of companies with headquarters in Gouda, The Netherlands. Imtech is listed on the stock exchange in Amsterdam € Next. The Group operates among others in the fields of power plant and power engineering, contracting, cleanroom technology, data and security systems.

Company Profile

The divisions include power plant and power engineering, contracting, research and development, clean room technology, data and security systems, Automotive Testing Solutions ( test bench technology ) and Schiffbau-/Dockbautechnik. For range of activities include the design, construction, operation and maintenance of energy, climate, communications and security systems for stadiums, arenas, airports, industrial facilities and other buildings. There are more than sixty branches in Germany and some countries in Eastern Europe.

Imtech Schiffbau-/Dockbautechnik, as a division of Imtech Germany GmbH & Co. KG, plans, develops, builds and maintains complex plant systems of all standards for refrigeration, air conditioning and environmental engineering, Dockbau and offshore technology, fire protection and pipeline construction in shipbuilding. Imtech Marine Germany (former HDW- Hagenuk ) since 2005, wholly owned subsidiary of Imtech and since the SMM 2008, a part of the Imtech Marine Group.

The activities of Imtech Marine Germany are planning, development, manufacturing, documentation and service in the maritime sector. The focus will be on the Power & Automation, Navigation & Communication and Electrical installation. Imtech Marine Germany is represented in Germany in Hamburg, Kiel and Bremerhaven, also several permanent missions to the shipyards such as Blohm & Voss and Nobiskrug in Rendsburg are available. Imtech Marine Germany currently generates the majority of its sales with delivery of electrical packages to China (Shanghai), where it has established a subsidiary that produced for the Asian market.

Imtech Automotive Testing Solutions ( ATS) plans, develops test benches and test stands for the automotive industry, both for the R & D sector, as well as in end- of-line area. This is to test benches for individual components and air chamber to the climatic wind tunnel. Imtech ATS has offices in China ( Beijing and Shanghai), as well as in Thailand. History

On July 6, 1858 Rudolph Otto Meyer founded his craft operating on the Elbe island Peute in Hamburg for the construction of heating systems for greenhouses. Since the 1890s, the construction of boilers and power plants and their installation was operated, among other things, to supply the new Hamburg City Hall with district heating. After the Second World War, the international activities were greatly expanded. So heating systems were delivered to the Middle East and Indonesia, among others for services in hospitals.

In 1997, the installation company Rudolph Otto Meyer (ROM ) was developed by the then shareholders 100% of the Internatio Müller NV (now Imtech N.V. ) sold. In 2000 it took over the Rhine Elektra GmbH. Since 2002, renamed the German site as Imtech Germany GmbH & Co. KG. Imtech Germany is responsible in particular for the business in Poland, Romania, Austria, Finland and Russia.

On 20 June 2008 Imtech Germany celebrated its 150th anniversary in Frankfurt am Main.

Imtech was the general contractor for the technical equipment of the twin towers of the Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt am Main. According to reports from the Handelsblatt newspaper in February 2011, the manager of subcontractors were bribed, among others, brothel visits. Crisis in 2013

Royal Imtech N.V. announced on February 4, 2013 announced that it would be forced to write-downs in the order of 100 million euros due to losses in Poland.
