In utero

As in utero, even in utero (in Latin, in the uterus ), is defined as processes that take place within the uterus. The term is commonly used in biology and medicine with respect to the localization of the embryo or fetus, or as a description of the place of action in this even before birth. Examples would be surgery or blood transfusions at the fetus.
