Inari Sami people

The Inarisamen ( proper name anarâš ) are a Sami ethnic group. They settle in Finnish Lapland on Lake Inari Lake in the municipality of Inari, where they represent the indigenous aboriginal population. Their language is the Inarisamische. The number of Inarisamen is estimated at 700, of which only about 250 still speak Inari.
