Inari (village)

Inari [ inɑri ] ( Anar Northern Sami, Inari Sami Aanaar, skoltsamisch Aanar, Swedish Enare ) is a place in the eponymous municipality in Finnish Lapland. It has 459 inhabitants and is situated at the mouth of the river Juutuanjoki in the Ukonselkä, a bay at the western end of Lake Inari Lake. Historically Inari was as Kirchdorf the capital of the same name, in terms of area extremely large congregation, but today is the administrative headquarters of Ivalo and largest town of the community.

In Inari, the Finnish Samething are ( the parliamentary representation of the seeds of Finland ), the Sami Museum siida and a built 1951 Sami church. Thanks to its location on Lake Inari Inari is a major tourist resort.
