Incident in New Baghdad
Incident in New Baghdad (English for: accident / incident in the new Baghdad ) is an American documentary short film by James spies from the year 2011, he treated the bombings in Baghdad on 12 July 2007..
The premiere of the short film took place on 24 April 2011 at the Tribeca Film Festival 2011 held at which he received the award in the category "Best Short Documentary ". When Rhode Iceland International Film Festival, the documentary took the grand prize in the same category, which at the Tallgrass Film Festival Audience Award at Incident in New Baghdad went.
To enable a theatrical release in Los Angeles and with it an Oscar nomination, James spies used the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.com. He took a 11,960 U.S. dollars, with its initial target at 7,850 U.S. dollars was. On 24 January 2011 the documentary was subsequently nominated for an Oscar in 2012 for Best Short Documentary.
