InCulto

InCulto ( Spanish " uneducated " for or " uncultivated ") was a Lithuanian band that was founded in 2003 by the Colombian Jurgis Didžiulis, whose grandparents came from Lithuania. Among other things, she participated in the Euro Vision Song Contest 2010 with the song in some East European Funk, failed there, but in the semifinals. 2011, they have officially separated.

Euro Vision Song Contest

Twice InCulto applied for participation in the Euro Vision Song Contest. In 2006, she appeared with the title Welcome, but have won only second behind LT United in the national qualifying round, which then as sections hitherto best horse in the competition.

In 2010, InCulto prevailed in both the jury and in the audience vote as the winner and qualify to participate in Oslo in the national qualifying round. Prior to the competition, the text of the message Eastern European Funk was assessed by the European Broadcasting Union, but had not changed. In the competition itself InCulto failed in the semifinals as Zwölftplatzierte of 17 participants.

Awards and nominations

In 2004, the band the " Best New Act " at the Bravo Music Awards. A year later she received the award for best band at the Bravo Music Awards. They were also nominated for the MTV Europe Music Award for " Best Baltic Act".
