Index of Economic Freedom

The Index of Economic Freedom is a macro-level indicator. It is calculated annually since 1995 by the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal and is used to assess economic freedom, similar to the idea of Adam Smith in The Wealth of Nations.
