India Fed Cup team

The Indian Fed Cup team is the national team of India tennis, which is used in the Fed Cup. The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup ) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, similar to the Davis Cup for the men.

History

For the first time India took part in the 1991 Fed Cup. The best result was reaching the second place in Group I Asia -Oceania 2006.
