Inés Efron

Inés Efron ( born 1985 ) is an Argentine actress. Her breakthrough came with the film XXY by Lucía Puenzo, in which she plays an intersex teenager. Her character is a 15 years old person named Alex who is trying to be clear about their identity. Efron said of her role: "I liked this character very much and thought. For her portrayal Efron won the award for Best Actress at the Film Festival of Cartagena, as well as three other awards. In the film Glue she played one of three teenagers in a small town in Patagonia. In the 2009 released movie The Fish Child, she played the main role, again directed by Lucía Puenzo.
