Ines Müller

Ines Müller (born in Reichenbach, born January 2, 1959 in Pomerania ) is a former German shot putter who competed for East Germany.

Life

She won gold in 1977 in the discus throw at the European Junior Championships. In the shot put, she was eighth in 1980 at the Olympic Games in Moscow. The following year, she won silver at the Universiade. In each case, she also won silver at the World Indoor Games in Paris in 1985 and at the European Championships 1986 in Stuttgart. In 1987 she won the bronze medal at the World Championships in Rome. At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988, she finished fourth. In 1985 and 1986 she was DDR Champion, 1984 and 1988 runner-up. In the hall they 1984 GDR champion and 1979 and 1980 runner-up.

Ines Müller is 1,82 m tall and weighed in their competition time 90 kg. She started for the SC Empor Rostock. In the becoming public knowledge after the fall of documents to the state doping in the GDR was found in the doped athletes also the name of Muller.
