History

The Infanterikanonvagn 91 was developed by Hägglund and Soner, now part of BAE Systems Hagglunds, in the 1960s. The first prototypes were completed in 1969. After the test phase, serial production of 1975 ran until 1978. Currently, the vehicle is retired from the Swedish Armed Forces.

Technology
