Infitah

Infitah (Arabic انفتاح, DMG ʾ infitah, opening ') was the name given to the policy of opening of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat.

This policy was launched after the Yom Kippur War between Israel and Egypt in 1973 and included the recognition of Israel as an independent state and the licensing of private investment.
