Infusoria

As infusoria (Latin Infusoria ) or infusoria is called small, for example in developing infusion of plant material creatures (eg, flagellates, ciliates, amoebae ).

In aquariums, they are sometimes used for the cultivation of juvenile fish. The excessive presence of infusoria is generally a sign of poor water quality, as these feed on bacteria and suspended organic matter.
