Inge Danielsson

Inge Danielsson ( born June 14, 1941) is a former Swedish football player.

Career

Danielsson started his career with Ifö / Bromölla IF in Division 2 There he was able to convince and moved in 1967 to Helsingborgs IF in the Allsvenskan.

In 1968, Danielsson abroad. The Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam in the same year he was national champion. The following year he reached the club to the final of the European Champions' Cup. He scored in the semi-finals in three games - at that time there was no penalty shootout and, therefore, a playoff was necessary - four goals against Benfica. In the final, but they lost with 1:4 AC Milan, in which Kurt Hamrin aground another Swede.

After one and a half years at Ajax Danielsson returned in the summer of 1969 back to Sweden to his former club Helsingborgs IF back who played now only second-rate. In 1973, he played one year for IFK Norrköping in Allsvenskan, before he could finish his career with his hometown club Ifö / Bromölla IF and later at Villandsvånga.

On November 6, 1966 Danielsson debuted in domestic Råsunda 2-1 win over Denmark in the Swedish national team and scored the 2-1 winning goal in the 48th minutes, his first international goal. Until 1971, he ran on in 17 appearances for the national selection, scoring eight international goals.
