Ingeborg Danz
Ingeborg Danz (* 1961 in Witten ) is a German oratorio, recital and concert singer in the vocal ranges and old mezzo-soprano.
Biography and artistic work
Ingeborg Danz first completed a degree in music education at the Music Academy in Detmold. Upon graduation, she studied singing with Heiner Eckels and laid her concert exam with distinction. During her training Ingeborg Danz won numerous singing competitions. In addition, she received a scholarship of the German Music Council and the Richard Wagner Association.
The artist sang at various opera houses, including the Staatsoper Hamburg and at the State Theatre in Detmold. Her artistic focus is in the field of concert and lieder singing, which comprises the European music literature from the Baroque to the late Romantic to contemporary music.
