Ingelmunster is a Belgian municipality located in the Flemish region with 10,728 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012).
Location
Ingelmunster is 3 km north-east of Izegem, 10 km east-southeast of Roeselare, 11 km north of Kortrijk, 30 km south of Bruges, 35 km southwest of Ghent and 78 km west of Brussels.
Traffic
The next highway exits are located in Roeselare in the west on the A17, Deerlijk Waregem and to the southeast by the A14/E17 and in the south near Kortrijk.
In Izegem, Waregem, Kortrijk and Tielt offers the nearest regional stations and in Bruges and Ghent keep on regional express trains.
In Brussels there is an international airport.
Economy
Ingelmunster is the seat of Van Honsebrouck brewery with beer brand Kasteelbier, which is named after the castle of Ingelmunster.
