Ingo Hoffmann

Ingo Hoffmann ( born February 28, 1953 in São Paulo ) is a former Brazilian race car driver with German roots.

Career

For the seasons 1976 and 1977 Hoffmann undertook as a second driver for the Brazilian team Fittipaldi. However, the team was at that time in financial trouble, so you usually only the first racing car was launched, whose driver was the two-time world champion and team owner Emerson Fittipaldi. So Hoffmann was able to attend only six Grands Prix, where he qualified but only for three races. Hoffmann scored no championship points, his best result was the seventh place in the Brazilian Grand Prix in 1977.

After his short Formula 1 career Hoffmann drove in Formula 2 and other smaller racing series in Europe and South America. He was also in the Stock Car Brasil is active, in which he chose twelve times in the championship.
