Ingo Rechenberg

Ingo Rechenberg ( born November 20, 1934 in Berlin) is one of the founders of the use of evolutionary algorithms in engineering. He is since 1972 professor of biomimetics at the Technical University of Berlin. He is currently acting director of the Department of Bionics and Evolution at the Technical University Berlin.
