Ingolf Mork

Ingolf Mork ( born June 4, 1947 in Molde, † 1 February 2012) was a Norwegian ski jumper.

Remarkable are especially its relatively strange results in the Four Hills Tournament. 1970/71 he won three individual competition, but was in Innsbruck only Sixteenth and thus missed the overall victory. A year later, he took the overall victory, without winning one of the four competitions. Here Mork benefited from the early departure of the Japanese to three times the daily winner Yukio Kasaya who wanted to prepare in the home to the Olympic Winter Games in Sapporo.

At the Olympic Winter Games Sapporo in 1972 he took while jumping from the Kleine Schanze fourth place and was the best non-Japanese. In 1973 he was awarded the Holmenkollen medal.
