Ingram Micro Distribution

The Ingram Micro Distribution is Germany's largest ICT distributor based in Dornach near Munich. There are also branches in Braunschweig, Wall Horst and Lippstadt. The logistics center is in Straubing and has a size of 80,000 square meters.

For a long time the German subsidiary of the U.S. company in terms of sales, Ingram Micro was clearly behind computer 2000 (now at Tech Data ), MACROTRON and other distributors, before you took over in 1998 and changed its name MACROTRON short time even under Ingram MACROTRON.

MACROTRON was founded in Munich in 1972 and initially began with the development, distribution and maintenance of innovative test and production systems for the electronics and semiconductor industries. 1983 MACROTRON distribution for computers, peripherals and software was launched, which quickly became the highest sales.
