Ini (pharaoh)

Ini was a little occupied pharaoh of the Theban dynasty 23. He probably ruled for 806/803 BC The period of his rule is not known.

Documents

He was known for a long time only by a graffito on the roof of the Month - Temple of Karnak which mentions his fifth year of reign. The author created the graffito two generations later, in the 4th year of a Sheshonk. It is probably IV to Sheshonk.

In spring 2008, bricks were also found with his name on the Nile island Elephantine, which show a construction of this king there.
