Inna Suslina

Inna Evgenevna Suslina (Russian Инна Евгеньевна Суслина; born January 5, 1979 in Tashkent) is a Russian handball player.

Suslina began in 1997 her handball career in Rostov-on- Don. One year she joined ASU Adyif Maikop. From 2001 Suslina guarded the gate of the top Russian club HC Lada Togliatti, with whom she won the Russian Cup in 2002, and again in 2002, 2003 and 2004 the championship. Then moved to the Danish first division club GOG Svendborg Suslina TGI, with whom she won the Danish Cup 2005. From 2008 Suslina stood in the gate of the Russian Zvezda Zvenigorod first division, with whom she won the EHF Champions Trophy in the same year. After two seasons at Zvezda she returned to Rostov- on-Don. Since the 2012/13 season she plays the Macedonian club Vardar zrk SCBT. With Vardar won the 2013 league and cup double.

Suslina has been disputed over 150 caps for the Russian national team. With Russia it was in 2001, 2007 and 2009 World Champion. At the European Championships she won the silver medal in 2006 and 2008 the bronze medal. In the 2008 Olympics she won the silver medal.
