The İnönü University (Turkish: İnönü Üniversitesi ) in the eastern Turkish city of Malatya is one of Turkey's state university with 19,000 students and 1600 academic staff. The University was founded on 28 February 1975 and is divided into 9 faculties today. It was named after İsmet İnönü.
