Insee Police United F.C.

The Police United is a Thai football club from Bangkok. The policy is a work team of the Thai Police, which is the main sponsor of the club at the same time. The club plays in the Thai Premier League. Play their home games from the team at Thammasat Stadium.

Club history

Founded police sports club 1960. 1965, the Association celebrated its first and only championship. Then there was silence around the club the police. The last years of the club's history just can not be called successful. So the club had recorded three downs and two ascents in the last 10 years. The recent rise in the Thailand Premier League, 2006, followed in 2007 again the direct re- descent. In the following year, 2008, you missed the direct resurgence margin of just 4 points and finished at the end of the season 4th place before the 2009 season, the club named but FC Royal Thai Police in Police United to. This was due to the new requirements by the Thailand Premier League and the AFC, which provides that clubs act as company and must also be registered as such.

The second division season 2009 was dominated from the outset of Police United. With 65 points from 30 games, the third promotion to the TPL could be made perfect. The team scored a total of 76 goals. Manit Noywech, top striker of the club reach 24 goals. After the end of the season the team was allowed to take some awards reception. Chaiyong Kumpiam was honored as Coach of the Year, Sompong Yod -art as goalkeeper of the year and Manit Noywech as a striker of the year. For the 2010 season the Police could undertake two high-quality players. In midfield were reinforced with the experienced Narongchai Vachiraban and attack with Nantawat Thaensopa. The latter was top scorer of the AFC Champions League 2008. Goran Zoric another striker was added. Zoric is the first Australian in the Thai Premier League.

In January 2010, the club signed a contract with the company Insee. For the amount of 60 million baht, for a term of three years, the club gave the name Insee. The official name of the club is since the Insee Police United. For the 2010 season, the stadium was changed again. New home of the club is now the Thammasat Stadium in the province of Pathum Thani, north of Bangkok.

In the Police so played them well-known players like Seksan Piturat, Kiatisuk Senamuang Thawatchai Damrong - Ongtrakul and Dusit Chalermsan. Seksan Piturat ended his career here in 2008 and Kiatisuk Senamuang, now coach of FC Chonburi, was employed as a police officer.
