Insektors

Insektors is a computer-animated television series that was produced from 1992 to 1994 by the French production company Fantôme. In Germany the series in Captain Blue Bear Club was seen.

The series takes place on a fictional planet, which is inhabited by two different nations insects. On the one side are the Würks who hate color and gaiety about everything and ruthlessly cut down flowers and plants to heat the rooms of their queen. On the other side are the Fröhlinge who love colors and music and have to enforce against the Würks over again.

Insektors was produced before Pixar's Toy Story, and is thus one of the first computer-animated television series ever.
