Insomniac (English for " Sleepless " ) is the fourth studio album by the American punk rock band Green Day and the successor of the successful album Dookie. It was released on October 6, 1995 by Reprise Records, reached number two on the U.S. charts and was awarded by the RIAA with twice platinum.
