Inspector of the Army

The Chief of Staff Army ( InspH ) is the chief of command, supervisors of the Land Forces of the Bundeswehr.

He is responsible for the personnel and materiel readiness of the Army. Assuming the Chief of Staff Army is directly to the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr. The inspector shall lead the army command with the subordinate divisions ( Division and equivalents ) and the Army Office of the assumed training and support facilities. As part of the Bundeswehr- wide conception he is a member of the Chiefs of Staff Council, chaired by the Inspector General.

The inspector and his deputy hold the rank of lieutenant general.
