The Institut Catholique de Paris ( ICP), colloquially called la Catho, is a Catholic University in Paris ( France).

University

It was founded in 1875 and today comprises six faculties (theology, literature, philosophy, social sciences, education and canon law ), sixteen institutions, six colleges (including the Group ESSEC and the Institut Polytechnique Saint Louis in Cergy- Pontoise ) and a university seminary ( the Séminaire des Carmes ) and research laboratories.

The ICP has partnered with four other French Catholic universities (Lille, Lyon, Angers and Toulouse) in the Union establishment d' Enseignement Supérieur Catholiques ( UDESCA, Union of Catholic institutions of higher education ) and a member of the IFCU (International Federation of Catholic Universities ) which 200 worldwide Catholic universities belong.
