Instrument Meteorological Conditions

Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC ) are meteorological conditions that make flying by reference to instruments, and therefore under the rules for the instrument flight ( Instrument Flight Rules IFR ) are required.

Pilots have for flying under instrument flight rules specially trained and the aircraft is appropriately equipped. If at least one of these parameters is not the case, a change in the weather of Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC ), which fly under visual flight rules is possible way to instrument conditions are very dangerous. In particular, lack of vision on the horizon resulting in pure VFR pilots to disorientation about attitude and altitude, which, loss of control and eventually lead to a crash in incorrect control inputs.
