Insular script

As Insular writings are referred to the further developments of Halbunzialen that were in use in the Early Middle Ages in Ireland, Scotland and England. They are usually distinguished in the insular half-uncial (also called ' insular Rundschrift ') and the insular minuscule (also called ' insular Spitz font ').

Use the fonts in addition to the halbunzialen forms for d, n and s also forms from the uncials. Typical are the spatula -shaped shaft approaches and Umpunktungen letters as an ornament.
