Integrál-DAC

The Integrál DAC is a Hungarian football club based in the North West Hungarian city of Győr, who currently plays in the Nemzeti National Championship II. The club is called 1912 Győr full name Integrál Dunántúli Atlétikai Club. " Integrál " stands for the main and title sponsor, the Integrál -H rt The residue on German " Transdanubischer Athletes Club".

Name development

The club was in 1912 as III. Kerületi Sports club (ie " sports club of the 3rd District " ) founded, but was renamed in the following year in DAC. Some other names change characterize the other club's history. In 1945 the club under the influence of railway workers, was first called MÁV- DAC, then Győri Vasutas, GyVSE DAC, Gyori - Lokomotív SE and finally back MÁV- DAC. This name had long existed before the company got in Integrál 2001 and the club from the district Nádorváros received its current name.

The stadium

The Integrál DAC Sporttelep was built in 1979-1980. It has 1,500 seats and 4,500 standing places.

Major Games

  • Derby: On May 1, 1914, the first city derby between the DAC and the Gyori ETO FC took place, the DAC surprisingly won 1-0.
  • First game in the new stadium: 2:3 against Szombathelyi Sabaria on May 4 Prior to 1980, 1,000 spectators.
  • Official Stadium Opening: 1:5 against Raba ETO at July 30, 1980 in front of 600 spectators.
  • Attendance record: In the Hungarian Cup quarter-finals in the Game against Honved (18 March 1981 Result: 0-5 ) before 7,000 spectators.
  • Greatest success: After a 0-1 home defeat in the first leg of the Integrál DAC managed, on 25 March 2008 with a 2-1 with first division side Vasas SC, for the first time the entry into the Hungarian Cup semi-final.
