Intelsat 1R (formerly PanAmSat 1R or PAS 1R) is a television satellite of the satellite operator Intelsat, the satellite was on 16 November 2000 for the company PanAmSat on board an Ariane 5 rocket from the Guiana Space Centre, the spaceport in Kourou / French Guiana into All transported. It provides capabilities for telecom, Internet and broadcasting services. As 1R PanAmSat, the satellite was the largest and most powerful of PanAmSat fleet.
