Interfax

Interfax is a Russian news agency. It was founded in 1989 and was the first non-governmental news agency of the Soviet Union. The focus of the report focuses on news from Europe and Asia. The headquarters are located in Moscow.

The news agency has offices in London, New York, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Denver, Moscow, Warsaw, Budapest, Prague, Kiev, Minsk and Almaty. It provides news from Russia and the other CIS countries, as well as from the other former Eastern bloc countries.
