Intermediate people's court

An Intermediate People's Court (Chinese:中级 人民法院) is a court of law in the People's Republic of China. They are made under Article 21 of the Law on the People's Courts in the People's Republic of China from 1 January 1980 in the regions, provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly the government and in the management of the provinces and autonomous regions, cities and autonomous districts. You set up criminal, civil and business chambers and other chambers that are deemed necessary (Art. 24). Intermediate People's Courts recognize in the first instance, provided that this is assigned by law or a lower people's court has assigned to them in the event. They recognize in the second instance against judgments of the lower people's courts (Art. 25).
