Intermot

Intermot ( International Motorcycle and Scooter Fair) is the world 's second largest trade fair EICMA in Milan after the two-wheel vehicles and held every two years since 1998.

History

Intermot was formed by cleavage of the (larger) motorcycle division of the International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition IFMA in Cologne and was until 2004 organized by Messe in Munich in 1998.

The Koelnmesse, however, managed to regain their former event. From 11 to October 15, 2006 presented in seven halls and the outdoor area in Cologne over 1,000 exhibitors. They found with around 187,000 visitors about 31,000 more than at the last Intermot 2004 in Munich.

2010, the Fair from 6th to 10th October in Cologne. The last Intermot was held from 3rd to 7th October 2012 also held in Cologne. The next show is scheduled for 2014.

Events at the Intermot

• Intermot Cologne Custom Championship is the place that serves as a qualifying show for the World Championship of Custom Bike Building in Sturgis, United States.
• With the e-Motion Show the Intermot provides one of the first events for electric motorcycles.
