International Alliance of Research Universities
The International Alliance of Research Universities ( IARU; German International Association of Research Universities ) is an association founded in January 2006 composite of ten universities that are world leaders in the field of research. The first chairman is Professor Ian Chubb, Vice- Chancellor of the Australian National University.
