International Association of Universities

The International Association of Universities (IAU ) was founded in 1950. It is a UNESCO affiliated organization with members from over 150 countries around the world and sees itself as a global educational network. Membership is open to universities and national and international institutions in the field of higher education. The International Universities Bureau, the permanent seat of the IAU, is located at UNESCO in Paris.
