International Botanical Congress

The International Botanical Congress (English International Botanical Congress, IBC for short ) is a meeting of botanists from all over the world. It takes place every six years and is organized by the International Association of Botanical and Mycological Societies ( IABMS ).

By resolution of Congress as defined by the International code of botanical nomenclature rules for botanical nomenclature can be changed.
