International Campaign for Tibet

The International Campaign for Tibet (ICT ) is a private interest group that fights for a democratic self-determination, the safeguarding of human rights and the protection of the country's own culture and environment in Tibet.

The ICT headquartered in Washington, D.C. was founded in 1988 and has offices in Amsterdam, Brussels and Berlin. It is the largest non-governmental organization that fights for the interests of the Tibetan people. In 2006, more than 100,000 registered members. CEO (Chairman of the Board of Directors), Richard Gere (as of 3/2009).

The German representative has the legal status of a registered association. CEO is Jan Andersson.
