International Federation of Liberal Youth

The in the British capital London-based International Federation of Liberal Youth ( Engl.: " International Federation of Liberal Youth) " ), IFLRY, is an alliance of liberal youth organizations around the world and at the same time, the youth wing of the Liberal International LI. The German FDP youth, the Young Liberals, are members of the IFLRY, until January 2008 as the Association of Liberal university groups. The Young Liberals Switzerland who are close to the FDP, and the Young Liberals Austria belong to the IFLRY.

History

The first session of konstitutierende IFLRY took place in 1979 in Silkeborg, Denmark. IFLRY sparked both the World Federation of Liberal and Radical Youth and the European Federation of Liberal and Radical Youth from as partly competing, organizations and pooled their skills.

Work

IFLRY held regularly throughout the world congresses, seminars and demonstrations to draw attention to the interests and suggestions of young liberal for a liberal world and has evolved despite its comparatively short history, a strong representative young - liberal interests.

Construction

The highest decision-making body is the General Assembly. She decides both changes to the ideological basis of the organization, the manifesto as well as the action plan.
