International Game Fish Association

The International Game Fish Association ( IGFA ) is an association with headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He stands up for the interests of the sport fishermen, and especially the deep-sea fishermen. It was founded in 1939 and is now a global organization that leads in particular the binding rules of deep-sea fishing, the IGFA fishing rules and determines the official record catch lists for more than 150 marine and freshwater fish.
