International Human Powered Vehicle Association

The International Human Powered Vehicle Association ( IHPVA ), was founded in the U.S. in 1976, has been operating since 2008, however, as the World Human Powered Vehicle Association ( WHPVA ).

Hostile Takeover

In 1998, the U.S. Club HPVA split off from the IHPVA and entered 2004 from this. In the context of a dispute over the name of the home side's HPVA to take possession of the domain ihpva.org, and she now leads since 2008 even the name of the International Human Powered Vehicle Association ( IHPVA ), while the original bearer of the name itself necessarily looking for a new name had.
