International Institute of Information Technology (Bangalore)

The International Institute of Information Technology ( IIIT short, formerly Indian Institute of Information Technology ) based in Bangalore was established in 1999. Objective is the training of graduates in scientific and technical fields. In February 2005, the status of a Deemed University was awarded the iiit -b.

Conception and naming of the IIITs are inspired by Indian Institute of Technology.
