International Institute of Information Technology (Hyderabad)

The International Institute of Information Technology ( IIIT short, formerly Indian Institute of Information Technology ) based in Hyderabad was established in 1998. Objective is the training of graduates in scientific and technical fields. It has the status of a so-called deemed university.

Conception and naming of the IIITs are inspired by Indian Institute of Technology.
