International Laser Display Association

The International Laser Display Association ( ILDA ) was founded in August 1986 in Lake Tahoe, United States and is a worldwide federation in which companies, institutions and individuals have joined together to establish laser in the fields of art, entertainment and education. The ILDA is now the largest organization of the laser show industry and is commonly referred to as laser show world governing body.

Organization

The ILDA is run by a five-member Executive Committee, one of whom serves as president. Bureau and President are directly elected in an annual general meeting. The Executive Director will take care of the daily business of the ILDA and maintenance of the website.

Financing

The ILDA financed by membership fees. The annual fee is based on sales of the company or on the status of the member, so there is as special membership fees for students.

Code of Ethics

Members of ILDA committed to fair competition by agreeing to ILDA Code of Ethics:

ILDA members strive cooperative, responsible and ethical use of laser to
ILDA Members agree to conduct their business in a professional and ethically correct, safe and good morals appropriate manner; they do everything in their power to resolve complaints against them.
ILDA members respect the wishes and goals of its clients.
ILDA members commit themselves in all countries and regions in which the member works to comply with all regulations for the use of lasers and follow.
No member may knowingly claim authorship of the work of another member for themselves, tolerate or can also apply through inaction for themselves.
ILDA Members undertake to make any false or misleading claims.
A member is made aware of incorrect or defamatory statements about a competitor or lend by silence corresponding statements of third parties validity.
Members are neither their own abilities, nor that of the medium generally misrepresent outward.
Members undertake to treat them as part of their position in the ILDA information received confidential.

Violations can be worn to the Ethics Committee of the ILDA, which can impose sanctions to the exclusion of a member after a thorough examination and mediation.

ILDA Awards

The ILDA Awards are an award on an annual basis award for outstanding technical or creative services Lasershow market. This has been awarded since 1988 and provides as the highest award in the industry.
