International Monetary Market

International Monetary Market (IMM ) is a division of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Chicago Mercantile Exchange. At the IMM futures are traded. It is the largest futures exchange in the United States and Eurex is the second largest in the world. The IMM in 1972 on their business.

The quarterly expiration dates of the futures are called IMM dates. Based on this the the nearby payment dates of CDS are also called IMM dates.
