International Mr. Leather

The election of the International Mr. Leather is an affiliated since 1979 annually discharged in Chicago and a regular competition major international event of the leather scene.

History

The international event is the result of the election as " Mr. Gold Coast" which was originally performed in the 1970s in the gay night club Gold Coast. With the change to a more visitor -making venue for the name of the event was changed simultaneously.

About 50 candidates of the leather scene from Europe, the United States, Australia and Canada participate each year in the election. Since 1998 regularly (at least) doing a German participant who is previously named as German Mr. Leather in the context of a fetish meeting in Berlin. The elections to the Mr. Leather Europe usually take place at the annual meeting of the European Confederation of Motor Cycle clubs where the umbrella organization of the German leather and fetish clubs, the leather and fetish community ( LFC ) with 13 leather clubs from Germany, Switzerland and Austria participates.
