International Near-Earth Asteroid Survey

The International Near- Earth Asteroid Survey ( INAS ) was organized in the 1980s by Eleanor Helin and coordinated to add the Planet - Crossing Asteroid Survey ( PCAS ), an international component. INAS was an attempt to cover the sky PCAS, which used only the Palomar Observatory, and to make the discovery and recovery of Near-Earth asteroids ( NEAs ) on a worldwide basis.
